Registration Open: The WitchHunt 2026 National AI Hackathon

The search has officially begun.

HopeWorks Foundation and AI4India (Event Partner), along with Infosys Springboard (Knowledge Accelerator) and Skills Cafe (Theme Sponsor), have launched one of the biggest AI hackathons of the year—a massive nationwide challenge to find the top developers across India.

We are calling on the best engineering minds. We are looking for scalable AI solutions that can solve critical issues in Education, Climate Action, Health & Wellbeing, and Smart Cities. If your team has the skill to build a functional prototype, we have the resources to reward it.

Beyond the innovation grants, top-performing teams will gain direct visibility for hiring opportunities, corporate training, and mentorship with our industry partners.

The Prize Pool: INR 18,00,000 - Theme Winners: INR 2,50,000 per theme (4 Winners)

  • Theme Runner-Ups: INR 1,00,000 per theme (4 Winners)

  • Special Mentions: INR 50,000 (8 Winners)

This is a hybrid hackathon where the best ideas will move from code to real-world impact. Build your initial prototype remotely, and the top teams will pitch in person at the national finals.

Note: WitchHunt is completely open to everyone. We are actively inviting developers across all genders and skill levels to form teams, build together, and compete on the national stage.
